Hard Rock poker leads up to WPT Immokalee

A large satellite poker tournament leading up to the $200,000 Seminole Immokalee Poker Challenge is set for 6 p.m. Sunday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Buy-in is $225, with six packages to the Immokalee event guaranteed. Packages include a $1,100 buy-in to the WPTDeepStacks Immokalee Main Event at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee on Sept. 9, a three-night stay at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee and $525 cash.

Hialeah Park continues its Saturday giveaways. Players’ club members receive free entries and can earn more entries with every 25 points earned. The prizes are $1,000 in free play hourly from 2 to 4 p.m., $2,000 cash at 5 p.m. Then it’s $1,000 in free play hourly from 9 to 11 p.m., and $2,000 cash at midnight.

The Casino @ Dania Beach has an instant win-while-you-play promotion on the slot floor. The casino designates a specific area of the slot floor, and doles out free play to those selected in that area with the player’s club card inserted. The promotion runs hourly from noon to 4 p.m. on Mondays and 3-7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek gives away $1,000 in free play every 30 minutes to five patrons from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday. Players may insert their Seminole Wild Card into any slot machine daily for one free entry and receive an additional entry for every $1 Comp Dollar earned.

The PPC Poker Series at Magic City Casino began at 6 p.m. Tuesday, with a $130 tournament and a $180 buy-in bounty tournament Wednesday. For the main event, which carries a $30,000 guarantee for $300, players can enter at noon or 6 p.m. Thursday or Saturday. The tournament concludes on Sunday.
