Frankey’s Super Sunday: Unlimited food for $49
Super Sunday is a good time for folks to gorge themselves, but in this case, at least you can chow down on some good stuff. Frankey’s Sports Bar at Gulfstream Park’s The Village has an unlimited spread for $49 (plus tax and tip and drinks).
For those unfamiliar, Frankey’s features meats raised with no hormones or antibiotics. It’s named after Gulfstream owner Frank Stronach, and the food is all raised on their central Florida ranch.
The fare: unlimited beef nachos, pizza, organic chicken wings, beef sliders, penne Bolognese, Frankey’s beef bowl and desserts. The offer runs from 5 p.m. Sunday until the start of the fourth quarter.
Other options for those not staying home:
Sports books are illegal in Florida, but you can still pick a winner at Mardi Gras Casino. For each 15 slot points, patrons toss the name of the team they think will win Sunday’s game into a barrel. At 7 p.m. Monday, the casino draws one name for $500 cash. One person’s entry from the losing team’s barrel gets $100 in free play.
Seminole Classic Casino goes for straight cash prizes, too, doling out $500 every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Casino Miami gives away a Ford Escape at 11 p.m. Free slot play drawings begin at 2 p.m. and run hourly until the grand prize drawing. Hourly free play drawings are from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m
Hialeah Park opened a new simulcast center in January, so the party is there on Sunday. Univision radio host Enrique Santos from Mix 98.3 FM hosts. Tickets are given away via his show. There also is a total of $1,500 being given away on the casino floor.
