Coco Poker starts Thursday; SHRPO climaxes today
The Coco Poker Showdown will begin a 10-day run at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek at 11 a.m. Thursday.
The Coco Poker Showdown offers three featured No Limit Hold ‘em events: A $100,000 guaranteed for $130 with entry available at 11 a.m. or 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; a $250,000 guaranteed for $350 with entries at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 26-29 and a $100,000 Deep Stack for $1,100 at 1 p.m. Jan. 30.
Six other events are scheduled, costing $80 to $240.

Meanwhile, the main event of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is down to nine players, after a marathon Sunday that trimmed the field from 346 to nine. First prize is $344,420. Leading the way with 8,200,000 is Salomon Ponte, followed by Harrison Gimbel with 7,775,000.
