This high hand stuff is getting even more serious, with The Isle and Seminole Hard Rock having days with $1,000 payouts. Dania and others are also upping their promotions. Player rental reigns. But I can hardly complain, having hit a straight flush to the king last month at Seminole Coconut Creek (I held 9-J of clubs, K-10 on the flop, a 5C for my flush on the turn and the magic card, Q clubs, on the river.) The payout had been $250 every 30 minutes but had rolled over twice, making for a $750 score for me and fodder for an article that I still need to finish.
